Hurricane Katrina was the costliest and one of the five deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States... The most severe loss of life and property damage occurred in New Orleans, Louisiana, which flooded as the levee system catastrophically failed... The hurricane caused severe destruction across the entire Mississippi coast and into Alabama, as far as 100 miles from the storm's center.

Leave: Saturday March 1st, 8 PM
(PLEASE ARRIVE 7pm at the Owings Mills Rockland Center parking lot)
Return: Saturday March 8th, 10am (approx)
 

Price:
$192.50 to Campus Crusade
$100 to Villa Julie Campus Crusade (gas etc.)
Total: $292.50

DEADLINE = FEBRUARY 18th

Registration Instructions:

  • Select Week 1, March 1-7

  • Choose ‘student’ to set up an account with Campus Crusade

  • Under Campus choose or type in ‘Villa Julie College’

  • Under name of group leader type ‘Craig Insley’

  • The ‘Make Payment’ tab is where you will pay the $192.50

  • You can pay for this with check or credit card

    • If you pay with a check – make sure to follow all of the directions given!

    • Checks can be made out to ‘Campus Crusade for Christ’ (tell this to family and friends )

The $192.50 to Campus Crusade covers your hotel stay and breakfast/lunch each day.


The $100 to VJC is for gas money for the ride down and other things we will buy. Yes it is expensive but we will be driving about 2,500 miles per vehicle, and hopefully they will be large comfortable gas guzzlers.


You can either give Craig the cash for this, or make a check out to Villa Julie College – put Campus Crusade in the memo

 

VEHICLES NEEDED!

  • We need people willing to let us drive their vehicles down, we are very respectful

  • Large SUVs or vans are preferred for the long trip

  • We will have at least 2 drivers per vehicle so no one will drive too long

  • Note: If you bring your vehicle, you do NOT have to pay the extra $100
