Theme For The Week...
Running With Jesus
Join us as we learn to more
about Jesus this
weekend! We are excited to see
what a
difference His love for us will
make in
everyday life. We will be

God’s revealed character, the
reality of our
condition, and how God can use
us to reach the
world with the hope found in
Jesus.
Our hope is that this weekend

wherever you are in your
spiritual journey. Join
students from your campus (and
others) in taking a
break from the routine as you
make new friends,
play together, and explore
things that matter.
Be ready to walk away refreshed,
encouraged, and
with deeper relationships as you
enjoy the
surroundings at beautiful Summit
Lake.

Ministry Help Needed
By Jason
Published: September 25, 2006
Hi I'm Mary Poling and I'm the
pastors wife from New Hope
Community Church (Stone Chapel
Lane in Pikesville) We just
started having a women's bible
study on Tuesday mornings from
9:00-11:30. We are in need of
people to work with our children
during the study. We are paying
$8 an hour. We also could
provide transportation to and
from. I was wondering if anyone
from Crusade at Villa Julie
would be interested and/or
available. Would you be willing
to ask? Thank you.

27!? First Meeting Recap
By Jason
Published: September 12, 2006
Our first meeting was awesome!
The "official" count by Puller
was 27. Not a bad turnout at
all! We hope everyone had a good
time and got something out of
the worship and lesson. Don't
forget, party on Sunday! See
below for more info.
Abraham Lincoln Quote:
"We have been the recipients
of the choicest bounties of
heaven. We have been preserved,
the many years, in peace and
prosperity. We have grown in
numbers, wealth and power, as no
other nation has ever grown. But
we have forgotten God. We have
forgotten the gracious hand
which preserved us in peace and
multiplied and enriched and
strengthened us; and we have
vainly imagined, in the
deceitfulness of our hearts that
all these blessings were
produced by some superior wisdom
and virtue of our own.
Intoxicated with unbroken
success, we have become too
self-sufficient to feel the
necessity of redeeming and
preserving grace, too proud to
pray to God that made us It
behooves us, then to humble
ourselves before the offended
Power, to confess our national
sins, and to pray for clemency
and forgiveness."
-April 30, 1863,
President Abraham Lincoln's
Proclamation for a National Day
of Fasting, Humiliation and
Prayer.

New Site
By Jason
Published: September 9, 2006
Many thanks to Matthew Hall for
his diligence in updating the
CCCVJC site throughout the
years. As Matt has graduated
this past spring, Jason
Palmisano has taken over
managing the site. I have
completely redesigned it using a
CMS (Content Management System)
which might be the best solution
for the organization. This way,
everyone can add news, pictures,
links, etc. without having to go
through a "webmaster". I may
also make a website/design in
basic HTML down the road, but
for now, this is it. SO!
Register, post stuff/news/pics,
have fun, and let me know if you
run into any problems. -Jason |
